Our commitment

Italian prison is not just a problem for those who are inside.

It is a measure of who we all are, as a country. The Founding Fathers had already imagined something better. We want to get there.

What we see

These are not numbers — they are people.

70%of those who are released reoffend.

A system that does not reintegrate is not justice: it is waste. Of lives and of public money.

€150per day per inmate.

Everyone's money, spent to fuel a failure.

ChildrenInnocent, behind bars.

Children of detained mothers, who have done nothing wrong.

The word "prison" does not exist in the Constitution.

Article 27 states that punishments may not consist of treatments contrary to the sense of humanity.

What we want

Tools, not handouts.

A free AI that generates legal applications. An end-of-sentence calculator. Concrete resources for those who don't know where to start again.

Voice, not silence.

Petitions, popular legislative proposals, civic pressure on those who decide. Because change cannot wait.

Dignity, not charity.

Punishment must open a path towards reintegration. The Constitution says so. We demand it.

Who we believe in

The protagonists:

those who have experienced prison first-hand.

The network:

the family members who bear the sentence by reflection.

Active citizenship:

anyone who knows that this is a battle for everyone's rights.
